Does your physician belong to any of the societies such as: The American Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Spinal Intervention Society, the American Society for Interventional Pain Practitioners, or the North American Neuromodulation Society? Membership and active participation in these societies indicates that your practitioner is most likely up to date in the specialty and practices according to the guidelines set forth by the societies.
